Construction and fit-out

Management software for construction and trade firms

Several crews, several sites, materials bought from three suppliers. Tosloc links the hours, the purchases and the invoices so you know what each site actually cost.

The demo needs no account and is loaded with a full year of data.

An employee record in Tosloc showing their workload and assignments

Margin is decided on site and discovered far too late.

A site makes money or loses it for three reasons: hours worked, materials used, and what was invoiced. All three live somewhere different — a notebook, a pile of delivery notes, a billing tool. They get reconciled at the end of a quarter at best, often never. The site that ate the margin looks like all the others until the accounts come back.

  • Hours written in a notebook and typed up at month end.
  • Materials bought with no record of which site they were for.
  • Margin known at year end rather than during the job.
  • Crews assigned from memory, with gaps and double-bookings.

What changes in a construction business

Hours come from the site

The tradesperson clocks in and out on site. The owner corrects it where needed — a correction is added, never erased. Those hours then feed the pay records.

Purchases attached to a supplier

Every purchase carries the supplier it actually came from, not just the item's usual one. You can see what you spend with each of them and how their prices move between orders.

Assignments without clashes

Assigning somebody who is already booked in that slot is flagged. Declared absences surface the sites they leave uncovered.

Margin after materials and labour

The dashboard deducts materials and what the pay runs say labour cost. Amounts are gross: employer contributions are not included, so your real cost is higher.

From the estimate to the site's result

  1. 1

    The quote

Built from your service catalogue, signed by the client, turned into an invoice with nothing retyped.

  2. 2

    The site

Crews clock in, materials come out of stock, photos record progress.

  3. 3

    The result

Hours, materials and billing meet in the reports: what came in, what went out, what is left.

Common questions

Does Tosloc run payroll?

No, deliberately. Tosloc records what you agreed with each person and what you paid them. It does not calculate social contributions or produce a payslip — that is your accountant or payroll provider's job.

Can I track several crews across several sites?

Yes. Every job carries who is on it, and the schedule shows the week per person. Each person's skills and availability sit on their record, which stops you assigning somebody who is not qualified or not there.

Can I see what each supplier costs me?

Yes. One report gives spend per supplier, what is still owed, and the median days you take to pay against the terms agreed. Another shows how each item's purchase price has moved, supplier by supplier.
