Plumbing and heating
Management software for plumbers and heating engineers
A callout at nine has to be assigned, attended, priced and invoiced. Tosloc holds that chain from the first phone call to the payment.
The demo needs no account and is loaded with a full year of data.

The emergency is the easy part. What it leaves behind is not.
The callout itself you can do. The trouble starts after: the job sheet scribbled in the van, the quote promised 'tonight' that goes out three days later, the part fitted that nobody wrote down. Every step is simple. It is the handover between them that costs, because it happens from memory and in the evening.
- Quotes promised on site and sent three days later.
- Parts fitted on a job and never billed.
- An engineer calling in to ask where they are going next.
- Finished jobs waiting for someone to invoice them.
What changes in a plumbing business
The day's work on the engineer's phone
Each engineer sees their jobs, the address, the contact and what needs doing. A changed assignment reaches their screen; they do not have to ring the office to find out where they are going next.
The quote signed before leaving
Build the quote from your service catalogue, the client signs it, and an accepted quote becomes an invoice without the lines being retyped.
Parts leave stock when they are used
A part fitted on a job comes out of stock and into that job's cost. You can see what is left in the van and what the job actually cost.
A record of what was done
Before and after photos, start and finish times, the client's signature at the end of the visit. When a job is disputed three months later, the file exists.
From a call to a payment
- 1
The call becomes a job
Create it, assign it to whoever is free and nearest, and it appears on their schedule.
- 2
The engineer attends
They clock in, record the parts fitted, photograph the result and have the client sign.
- 3
The quote or invoice goes out
Parts and labour are already there. Read it over, send it, and track the payment from the same record.
Common questions
Can I add an emergency job during the day?
Yes. Create the job and assign it: Tosloc flags whether that engineer already has something in the slot, and the map shows who is closest. The job then appears on their schedule.
Does an accepted quote really become an invoice?
Yes, the lines carry straight over. Invoice lines are frozen when the invoice is issued, so changing your service catalogue later never rewrites an invoice that has gone out.
Can I track parts and purchases?
Yes. Every part has a stock level, usage is linked to the job that consumed it, and purchases are attached to the supplier they came from. One report shows how each part's purchase price has moved, supplier by supplier.
